An Art Song is a song written to be sung in recital, typically with piano accompaniment and often set to a poem.

We believe that Art Song is beautiful, powerful, and impactful! It is our hope to inspire and encourage audiences through art song and introduce the genre when necessary.

We choose to do this by performing and programming art song, both traditional and modern art song, but also through spotlighting other amazing vocal art genres, such as classical and opera. Our hope is that our audiences learn to love art song, but also develop a deeper love and appreciation for all vocal arts.
